Kevin Walsh was born in Castleford in the West Riding of Yorkshire in 1950. He studied illustration at the Wakefield College of Art and then established a reputation, initially for his aircraft paintings, but increasingly for his landscapes, city life and transport in bygone days images. Kevin combines accurate technical and historical detail with his ability to capture the warmth and atmosphere of the subject.
