In Loving Memory

 

Barney

 

20 August 1996 - 11 March 2010

 

This site is dedicated to the memory of my beloved dog Barney, with whom I had the pleasure of sharing 13 years and 4 months of his life.

 

Sadly, I had to have him put to sleep when the pain of arthritis, despite his medication, clearly became too much for him to bear. He died peacefully, his last action before drifting off was to lick my hand as if saying 'goodbye'.

 

He was a handful, highly intelligent, a constant companion, loyal, affectionate and always did what he wanted. He helped me through some really dark times, never minding my tears and was always there for me.

 

He is laid to rest in my garden, at peace and pain free. I want to thank him for allowing me to be a part of his life and for all the wonderful times we had together. He is sorely missed and irreplaceable.

 

Rest in peace my little fella.
